Something I've always enjoyed drawing are comic strips and cartoons. I'll get a funny thought or idea and scribble it out on paper. If it looks right, then I'll keep it around. I'll stash the cartoon in my sketch pad and leave it there for a while. If, when I come across it a month or so down the road, I still think it's funny, I'll do a finished version. If it sucks...I'll probably do a finished version anyway. Dick Starrtoons are my random jokes, and tend to be mildly offensive at times (not always). Lester the Leper is a character I did for a while in college. I had two printed in the local paper until the strip was dubbed as "tasteless and unfunny". These are some of the ones that I like best.
